I attended a funeral today, one of many that I’ve been to in my time. Of all the funerals I’ve been to, thankfully, none have been for anyone very close to me, they’ve all been for partners or parents of people I know. But they are never fun. It’s my birthday next week and I’m feeling reflective, sort of. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas….with madness in every store! You know that it’s Christmas when you go to the shopping centre and find yourself faced with countless people running around madly, shopping bags dragging behind them and frowns that can be seen from a mile away.
